What can you expect on-board our ferries?

Viewing Decks

The Viewing Decks offer a great opportunity to walk around the ships, as well as take in the beautiful views of the Northumberland Strait. It is quite common to spot seals, birds and often porpoises' swimming along side the ships. A great way to relax and enjoy the crossing!


Music on Deck

Music on Deck will be taking place daily throughout the summer until September 1st. With local artists from Eastern PEI and Pictou County on-board for the 1pm and 2:45pm crossings both from Wood Islands, PEI as well as Caribou, Nova Scotia. The Confederation and Holiday Island will come alive with local entertainers. Sit back and experience local musical talent.

Cows Ice Cream

Cows Ice Cream, rated the best ice cream by Tauck World Discovery, is based in Prince Edward Island, what better way to taste the best ice cream than on-board the Confederation ship. Enjoy a delicious Cow's ice cream cone, and pick up a great t-shirt at the same time!

The Café

The Café on both the Confederation and Holiday Island provides a wide variety of food. While on board enjoy a complete meal or a light snack. Enjoy a traditional breakfast; a great lunch, or a healthy dinner, there is something for everyone at the Café!

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop provides a perfect opportunity to pick up treasured souvenirs to remember your vacation in the Maritimes. Items include local products from Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, the Gift Shop is truly a must see place during your ferry ride.

TV-Movie Lounge

TV-Movie Lounge, if a movie is more your style, you will love the TV-movie lounge. Enjoy a movie as you relax on-board the crossing, the 75-minutes will fly by.

CVideo

CVideo machines are located on both the Confederation and Holiday Island. A great way for the kids, or the kid inside every adult, to have some fun and enjoy the 75-minute crossing!

VLT's

VLT's Enjoy a quick game while on-board the ferry crossing, but as always, enjoy responsibly and play within your limits. The VLT area is monitored to ensure that children are prohibited from playing the VLT's.
